Alana and Alyssa
The beauty of Alana De La Garza is awe-inspiring on small screens. Her parents are Mexican-American and Irish-American. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. Soon after, she moved to Texas and completed her degree in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for very long, and she soon made the move in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, including independent local commercials as well as films. Despite having small parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for performing. After moving into New York, in 2001 she got her first acting role on All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 she had small parts on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared 85 times. Following a brief run, her character migrated into Law & Order: LA. The character she played has earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. She was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Deko and was also the spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory and is Italian by descent. Her family was very strict and religious one. Milano began her acting career when she was seven when her babysitter joined her at an audition. Her audition was in the top 1,000 applicants. Milano was chosen as one of only four girls. Milano appeared in commercials for television as well as off Broadway shows, including the very first American musical version to Jane Eyre.
