Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar, the American and British sitarist. She is the youngest female and also the first woman to be awarded a British House of Commons shield. Anoushka is a rising star in Indian sitar. She is a scholar and daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was in London in 1982 and spent her early years shuttling from London in London and New Delhi. The first time she performed was in New Delhi at the tender 13 years old. In 1999, she completed her high schooling in Encinitas CA. Anouskha was only a teenager, has had an impressive recording and performing career. She has been accompanying her father in the stage for a long time.
